Simmons Bank Names Veteran-Banker Paul Craig as Nashville Market President - May 6, 2021

Nashville, Tenn. – Simmons Bank announced today the addition of veteran-banker Paul Craig as its market president for Nashville, Tennessee. Craig will be responsible for overall market strategy and overseeing all revenue lines for one of the fastest-growing markets in Simmons Bank’s six-state footprint. He will report to Matt Reddin, chief banking officer for Simmons Bank.

“Paul is a seasoned banker and his diverse background and depth of his experience makes him a perfect fit to lead our growing Nashville franchise,” said Reddin. “We look forward to Paul taking the helm and continuing to deepen relationships with our growing team and client base.” 

With 10 years of banking experience across a 30-year career in accounting and real estate, Craig most recently served as the senior vice president and director of corporate development at FirstBank in Nashville. A Lipscomb University alumnus, Craig graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He served as a member of the board of directors of Franktown Open Hearts, a non-profit organization which provides mentorship and education experiences for underserved youth.

Craig currently serves as a member of the board of directors for the Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee chapter, an organization dedicated to preparing young people to succeed through financial education. He is the proud father of three children and has been a Nashville area resident for more than 30 years.

Founded in 2012 by FedExCup Champion and nine-time PGA TOUR winner Brandt Snedeker and his wife Mandy, the Snedeker Foundation supports a variety of social and athletic endeavors in middle Tennessee. May 6–⁠9, 2021 the tournament is being hosted at The Grove in College Grove and is operated by the Tennessee Golf Foundation, a nonprofit organization that promotes golf and its life-enhancing values statewide.
