SEARCY, Ark. – Simmons Bank announced the new hire of Monte Elam as a Community Banker in Searcy. Simmons continues to provide excellent service to the area through the work of dedicated financial professionals.

Elam is originally from Alma, where he went to high school before attending Arkansas Tech University (ATU). He graduated in May 2008 from ATU with a degree in management and marketing.
His most recent work was with Rabo AgriFinance in Cabot, where he grew his diverse portfolio to more than $30 million in just two years. Before Rabo, Monte was an agriculture lender and branch manager for Farm Credit of Western Arkansas for six years.
